Leading lines
Balance
Rule of thirds
Dominance
For this image I took a photo of leading lines of the railings curving off into the distance. I like this because you can see many leading lines in the picture as a whole,
Vertical linesIn this image I took a picture of the metal grated roof. I took this because of the vertical line pattern that goes up the side of the roof.
Horizontal linesFor my horizontal lines I found that on the platform there was horizontal metal plating that ran across the wooden floor boards.
For my image of balance I took a picture of stairs with railings, This image has balance in the railing that run parallels on each side of the stair and also there is balance with each of the steps.
Rule of thirds
For rule of thirds I took a picture in a field. I took a picture of an autumn tree with a building in the back left. What I like about this photo is that there is a mix between rural and urban landscape.
For my spiral image I took a picture of a spiral stair case. I like this image because of the bright colours from the stairs and the walls around the stairs.
In this photo I took a picture of a big concrete ball on a small grass hill. What I like most about this image is that there is an off balance with the ball on the grass hill and makes it look like its missing its counter balance.
The reason why I chose this for dominance is because the overhang of the roof is taking up the main focus of the image which makes the sky look like a secondary focus in this image.
Rhythm
For my rhythm image I found some wooden beams that were all in a row. This pattern creates a rhythm between all the beams
