  In this photo I took a picture of someone in front of a white backdrop. What I like about this shot is that the flash illuminates the the white backdrop and makes the subject even more dominant in the photo. For this image I took a picture from the side of the subject which gave lighting to only one side of the image. The flash from the side gives the effect that lighting could be coming from natural lighting in a window. This photo was taken similarly to the one previous. I took this one with a different distance to capture more of the backdrop to show even more contrast in the lighting in each side of the picture. For my forth image I took a photo from the other side of a hallway with the flash angled upwards. This lessened the intensity of the flash which gave a hue around the subject.

  For this photo I took a picture outdoors with the flash on. The flash illuminated the model well and isn't too over exposed. In this image I was shooting in the studio. The lighting from the flash was sufficient enough to capture the subject with enough lighting. This is another photo that I took inside of the studio. What I like about this one is the shadow that you can see behind the subject. For this photo I used the flash with natural lighting coming in from behind the subject from a window. Out of the photos inside and outside I found that these pictures taken beside a window to be the more darker images. From this exercise I learned a lot about flash photography. Prior to this exercise I had no prior experience with flash so learning the basics helped me a lot. I was unaware of the effects of using the flash outdoors with plenty of lighting and was surprised how well it turned out.

  For this photo I used the reflection technique outdoors with a light reflector to one side of the models face in order to give a hue on the side of his face. The reflector used had gold foil which gave its gold hue. In this I used natural lighting coming in from the window on the models right side. This gave lighting to one side of his face leaving the other half in the shade. In this image I shot outdoors making sure that all of the natural lighting was focused on the models face to give intensity to the lighting. The outcome gave equal lighting on all sides of the model making everything bright and clear. For my fourth photo I took an indoor shot from the side of the model that was facing out towards the window where the light was coming from. I like how there is just enough light coming through the clouds to illuminate the face of the model.
