Creative lab exercise

Stand in one spot and make 24 unique photographs while standing in the same place.

Out of the 24 images that I took for this I chose this one because of this mix of a rural field with urban electric transition poles that run across the sky I like how  the electric wires run parallel across the sky and the green paths through the field.

Take 10 unique abstract photographs of 1 small objects.

The reason why I chose this image is because I like the rainbow effect that the broken glass has that makes it stand out from the brown soil background. What worked well for me was that I managed to get a distortion effect around the outside of my main object while keeping the object in focus.

Choose one subject and place it where it exists, in each corner of the frame for 4 images.

I chose this as my each corner of the frame because the truncated domes on the path are in square blocks which made it ideal to get all 4 corners in. I like how the bumps create a pattern within the frame.

Find one scene that you are happy with and take 10 pictures.

I used this scene because I like the rural field in front of the modern style buildings. What went well with this photo is that the electric cables going across are running parallel to each other

A photo taken from above looking down on the object.

I chose this one because of the mix of dirt, grass and rock in the background. What went well with this is that when you look down at the stick you can see how miniscule it is in the grand scheme of things.

                     (my photo)

                    (photo on the internet)

replication of photo I saw online

The reason why I wanted to have autumn leaves on the ground as my picture is because in my garden the leaves have all gone orange and have fallen off my trees which was something I could replicate. What I did well in this photo is that I mixed the grass with the autumn leaves on the ground just like in the photo of the internet.
