image manipulation stage 1

 Brainstorm ideas:

For my research I found that my preferred style of image manipulation was those that created images that would not be possible in real life. The reasons why I enjoy these types of images is because they remind me of something that can only be thought of when thinking creatively and trying to think of the craziest and interesting looking photos possible.

After getting inspiration from the internet of different kinds of image manipulation I then started to look at photographers and artists work.

This image was made by Anna Maghradze who mostly does image manipulation that involves making people transparent, invisible or distorted. I like how the person is transparent enough to see that it is a person but not too much invisible so its hard to tell what you are looking at. I also like the fact that part of the hat and scarf are still visible so that you get a rough idea of what this person might look like. There is something that I dont like which is that on the right where the arm is it doesn't properly match the blue frame but instead the brick wall.
This image was made by Tommy Ingberg. He specializes in images that involve random objects or elements coming out from a person. What I like about this photo is that the person is waste deep in a lake while having the opposite element of fire coming out from the neck. Another part I like is that he added the reflection in the water to make it look more real. Tommy Ingbergs work is similar in the way to Annas but they manipulate people in completely different ways to each other.

This image was created by Ian De Novellis. He usually does photos in relation to nature and people. What I like about this photo is that how simple it is made. I also like how the eye colour blue mimics the ocean which is what the kayak would be in normally.
